The Bead Cottage's Crew of Instructors
Sheila Butler
Sheila is one of our main wire design instructors. She is a strong and wonderful person with a great talent working with all kinds of wire. A mother of three children she also does bead weaving, metalsmithing, and catering & still finds time to teach at The Bead Cottage. She started in this fantastic world of beading years ago and has taken it to all sorts of new directions. If you are interested in wire, take a class from Sheila! You'll be learning from the best and at the same time be entertained. Having fun with her students in a happy, go-lucky environment is what Sheila is all about!

Pam Hunt
Pam is probably the most recognized instructor we have. She is here A LOT! She has been beading for 10+ years and has even taught for the City of Norfolk. She is the leader of our Beadaholics class that meets once every week. She is also our Bead Lady for our workshop on Tuesdays from 12 p.m. - 6 p.m. She primarily teaches most of our stitchwork classes with a few exceptions. One of her major attributes that you will always remember when you meet her is her patience in teaching let alone her eye for color.
