CAT EYE BEADS

Cat eye beads derive their name from the interesting way they refract light. These unique beads are made from fiber-optic glass. The glass is expertly shaped into round forms by fusing quartz fibers together creating brilliant colors from refracted light. Sometimes referred to as "fiber-optic," these man-made beads change color as they grab the light from different angles.  A shining band down the center of these beads is reminescent of a cat's eye, hence the name.
